This is where you keep your domain, your keywords and your password, all in one place.
Where to find it
Open Account and switch to the Projects or Change password tab.
1) Save domain and keywords
In the Domain area you enter:
- your main URL
- your most important keywords, which are stored as tags
- Auto Crawl, if you want it
The easiest way:
- Enter the domain, with
https://in front - Add keywords that fit your main pages
- Switch on Auto Crawl if you need it
- Save
2) Change password
In the Change password tab you can set a new password, have a secure one generated for you and copy it straight to the clipboard. The new password and the confirmation have to match.
Working with other tools
The Search Console connection isn't made here, it has its own Search Console tab.
Common problems
Domain is not saved
- Check the URL format (
https://...) - Reload the page after saving
Password change does not work
- The two fields don't match
- The password may not meet the minimum requirements
One last thing
Look after your domain and keywords every now and then, especially after a relaunch. And change your password once in a while, ideally with the generator in the tab, then you don't have to remember it if you use a password manager.
